Last September, the Minister for Rural and Community Development, Michael Ring, TD, announced the launch of a National Community Event, to be held for the first time over the May Bank Holiday weekend, 2019.
The event is a celebration of the great spirit of community that exists across the country and an effort to help people who share communities to come together, get to know each other and deepen the sense of community in their area. There are many wonderful communities coming together all over the county to celebrate ‘The Big Hello’ on the May Bank Holiday Weekend., so be sure to come along to your local community event or come visit Lough Boora for ‘The Big Hello’. Entry free and all welcome!
